We had a really lovely relaxing time at La Tuilerie for two weeks. Thank you very much for all your advice on places to visit and answering our numerous questions.
The wildlife around your garden has been a great pleasure to us. Watching “Cyril” the squirrel burying nuts outside the window while eating our breakfast was one of the highlights!

Thank you for a great week and in particular for making us so welcome. We used La Tuilerie as a base to visit Taizé each day. We enjoyed the 40 minute walk - excellent exercise. The peaceful setting of the gite was so in keeping with our week of reflection at Taizé.
We visited the lake at St Point a few miles south of Cluny - a good place for swimming. Taizé has its own wood/lake which is open between 14.00 and 19.00 - it is a place of silence but it is a lovely place to walk or read a book by the lakeside, there is also a small waterfall. Acess to the lake is via the lane by the Taizé sign and cross as you approach from Ameugny - car parking is best at Ameugny.
Thank you again for a most relaxing week.
