Te gast van 07-06-2008 t/m 28-06-2008
Wij waren hier van 7 tot 28 juni 2008. Drie volle weken dus. Geen minuut spijt van gehad. In tegendeel.

Stayed from 07-06-2008 until 28-06-2008
We were here from 7th until the 28th June 2008. Three whole weeks. We didn’t regret one minute of it. On the contrary. We were looking for: a good place to stay, beautiful surroundings, most importantly good cycling possibilities and preferably good weather. We got it all. La Tuilerie is a lovely gite, it has everything you could need. Plenty of space all around both in the sun and in the shade; quietness and nature in a superb location. Cees and Sue the hospitable owners, who can give you all sorts of advice, are always up for a chat if you want. Nice tips about the area, cycle tours, restaurants etc. A beautiful area with cows and sheep in some fields, crops in others and of course vineyards. The many charming small old villages and some larger places with their characteristic shopping streets and lovely markets. And then the cycling possibilities: in one word fantastic! From flat is very steep, for everyone something. The Voie Verte is tremendous with the cycle routes (boucles) running off it. The facilities at the old staions along the Voie Verte are excellent (picnic tables, toilets, parking facilities). La Tuilerie is a stone’s throw from this cycle path. All in all a very successful holiday.
