Stayed from 23-07-2011 until 30-07-2011
We had a wonderful week staying in L'Etable. We arrived rather worn out after a busy few months but soon relaxed there. It's impossible not to do so - peaceful countryside, easy access to great cycle routes, local shops brimming with tasty bread, cheese and wine... We had good weather and spent a lot of time sat outside the gite, gazing out over the fields, chatting to the neighbourly cows and playing many games of Scrabble. L'Etable was equipped with all the bits and bobs we needed - kitchen utensils, towels, BBQ, incredible comfy sofa. Sue and Cees were the perfect hosts. They kindly arranged for us to rent bikes during our stay, collected us from the bus on arrival/departure and provided us with various useful info as needed. Many thanks for a great holiday.
